A century of community, service and celebration
The Brisbane Pinelands Lions Club proudly hosted the Pinelands Centenary Festival on Sunday 15 March, celebrating 100 years of the Pinelands Lions Hall and the many memories created there over the past century.
The event brought together members of the local community, families and Lions volunteers for a day filled with celebration, connection and community spirit. Visitors enjoyed a lively festival atmosphere with food, activities and the opportunity to reflect on the history of a hall that has served the community for generations.
For many residents, the hall has been a special place where community events, meetings and celebrations have been held for decades. The centenary celebration provided an opportunity to recognise the important role the hall has played in bringing people together.
Members of the Brisbane Pinelands Lions Club were proud to host the event and would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the day a success. A special thank you also goes to the dedicated Lions volunteers whose efforts ensured the festival ran smoothly and created such a welcoming atmosphere.
The centenary celebration was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our community and the impact that local service organisations can have when people come together.
The Brisbane Pinelands Lions Club looks forward to continuing to serve the community and create new memories at the Pinelands Lions Hall for many years to come.
