Pinelands Lions Hall Turns 100 – Join Us for the Centenary Festival!

In 2026, the Pinelands community will celebrate a remarkable milestone — Pinelands Hall will turn 100 years old. To honour a century of service to our local community, the Brisbane Pinelands Lions Club will proudly host the Pinelands Centenary Festival on Sunday, 15 March 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome.

Originally built as the Runcorn Progress Association Hall, this historic venue has supported generations of local residents and remains a vital gathering place for community groups, families, events, and celebrations. For 100 years it has stood at the heart of Runcorn and surrounding suburbs, serving as a place where people connect, collaborate, and support one another.

The Centenary Festival will feature family activities, community displays, entertainment, and the chance to learn more about the hall’s rich history. It will also celebrate the volunteers and community spirit that have kept the hall thriving for a century.
